Controller
Arclune is currently provided by the person identified in the provider information below. You can contact support at arclune@icloud.com.
A data protection officer is not appointed for the current individual, free-app setup.
What stays on your device
Airport searches, selected airports, route endpoints, stops, shape points, distance units, map style, aircraft and time assumptions, wind settings, recent routes, and app preferences are processed locally on your device.
Arclune does not operate a developer backend that receives your route searches, recent routes, preferences, or airport search history.
Optional location
Location access is optional and is used only if you choose a feature such as nearby airports. You can use the core app without granting location access.
You can change or revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Apple Maps and Apple services
Arclune displays maps using Apple Maps and system services provided by Apple. Apple may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies when those services are used.
Arclune does not add third-party map analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
No tracking, accounts, ads, or third-party analytics
Arclune does not track you across apps or websites, does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not include third-party analytics in the current app version.
Support communication
If you contact support by email, the information you send is used to answer your request. Email communication is handled by the email services involved in sending and receiving the message.
Legal bases where applicable
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, local app processing is generally performed to provide the app functionality you request. Optional location access is based on your permission. Support messages are processed to respond to your request and to maintain the app.
Retention
App data stored on your device remains there until you change settings, clear app data, or delete the app. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, safety, and legal record purposes.
Recipients and transfers
Arclune does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by Apple services, email providers, and hosting providers needed to provide the website, App Store distribution, maps, support, and downloads.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data. Contact arclune@icloud.com for privacy requests.
Children
Arclune is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Information-only product boundary
Arclune is an information and visualization app only. It is not for navigation, flight planning, dispatch, fuel, weather, regulatory, or safety decisions.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
